Here we go again! New version of CyanogenMod means a new nightly thread, but same old rules!
  • DO NOT: Post to the bug tracker
  • DO NOT: Open another thread (I will enforce this with temp bans)
  • DO NOT: Think of this as official forum support; this thread will be strictly user to user support. Don't expect CM-dev help.
** These CyanogenMod builds are highly experimental and unsupported.
**
** Please refrain from submitting bug reports for any issues
** you may encounter while running one of these builds.
**
** Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
** cause of male impotence.

Has anyone noticed this?  Pretty much everything else I've tried so far works great, but neither the google calendar nor the Touch calendar will show me any data.

As a side note, I'm running the 0331 Nexus CDMA nightly (toro), and everything there (including calendars) seems to work.
NM, wiped data/cache, reflashed 20120329 zip and gapps, and calendar worked fine.  I must have goofed something up the first time.

When I download the latest nightly (April 3), the downloaded file is either 59 or 79 MB (it switches randomly), but it is supposed to be 119 MB.  I have tried downloading on Linux, Android, and Windows, and people in other forums have noticed the same problem.  Perhaps it wasn't uploaded correctly?

Thanks, keep up the good work on the TF201

Thanks, but I couldn't find the TF201 among their supported devices.  Or were you suggesting I compile it?

I used the torrent and it worked great, thanks for pointing that out.

No, you can download it from there. But your too slow. :P They only show like the 40 latest builds for all devices.

Now you can download from browser to phone from http://get.cm/. Check this out:

As soon as I insert my MicroSD card it's rendered unreadable :-(
MicroSD card works perfectly with other Transformer Prime ROM's

EDIT: Switching from ExFAT to FAT32 fixed this issue :-)

I'm loving this new kernel, but battery won't display it is charging even though it really is. Lol! Freaked me out at first. I noticed this with the release of the new 3.1.10 kernel.

Iam having some Problems with Cifs Manager Samba sharing. In Nightly 9th May everything works fine. At the later Builds i can't get any connection.  I  tried to install the modules  manualy  but i  can't start   them  cause of a script starting error.

I just moved from stock prime to cm9. I noticed cm9 registered my prime as "Transformer Prime" while stock registered as "Transformer Prime TF201". Some apps won't show up because they don't recognized the name comes from cm9. Anyone know how I can rename my device or I have to wait until devs fix it?

BTW, where can I get the new kernel?

Updated prop files to be merged soon: http://review.cyanog....com/#/c/16039/

Concerning the new kernel, it has been rolled back to a slightly modified stock kernel. Seems they need to do more testing before they will merge it back in.

I am just installing this on my stock prime using cwm recovery and installing via zip but after completing the install via zip and rebooting it just sits at the Eee Pad logo and doesn't do anything.  I can reenter cwm recovery but that's it.  I did wipe user data and cache prior installing via zip.  I am using the latest nightly as well.  Any ideas?

And.....I'm bricked. :( Tried to go back to stock and now get unrecoverable bootloader error on boot.

Sorry to hear about your prime. Did you try any of these suggestions? http://forum.xda-dev....php?p=22897771
Sounds like you went from a 1a to a 3.

I tried Cyanogen on my TFP and I had some issues that I thought I'd voice because.. well I certainly don't have the skillz to fix em myself so I'm hoping someone else can :)

Also if someone can confirm these are issues they are having I'd appreciate it:

I did a full factory data wipe and installed the May 28 2012 nightly with the latest gapps:

-Wifi turns on very slowly.  Like upwards to a minute to turn on if it does at all.  This includes at boot up and on the initial android setup screen.  Manually turning wifi off and then on seems to work ok.
-The system process hangs on every boot up and I can either force close or wait.  Waiting instantly clears the dialog and the tablet runs normally after that.
-Jango doesn't work.  There is an authorization error "null".  This has already been documented hereandwas also a problem on Gummy and AOKP. Jango does work fine on Virtuous Prime (a stock-ish rom) as well as on my Gnexus running CM9 nightlies.
-There was some screen tearing on the launcher screens
-Some themes constantly give the incorrectly compiled error even after applying the system theme and rebooting.  This includes Sonny Sekton's themes and the Elegance themes, but the holo themes did apply.  (AOKP had the same theming problems.)

If I can give more info on any of these please let me know.

Known issues.

Toggle Wi-Fi off/on is the temp fix.

Use TiB to restore apps that suffer the not compatible bug.

Ricardo Cerqueira is the man that brought the themes back to CM. His play holo theme templates work well. All the other themers need to update their themes to his templates. Currently, most themers aren't working on tablets.

I am having a few specific issues with my Prime on the last few nightly builds:

1.  Wifi toggles on and off frequently.  I am 5 feet from my router and have great signal strength, but the connection cycles on and off quite often, especially at initial boot.  I believe this problem started with the 5/30 nightly.  I am using the toggle wifi on - off trick to enable wifi to connect after boot up.

2.  With both the 6/3 and 6/4 nightly builds I am unable to turn off the display.  Pushing the power button causes the prime to reboot.  If I go back to the 6/1 nightly there is no issue.

Anyone have any suggestions?

1. Wi-Fi no problems except with having to toggle off/on at boot. Trouble walking away from your router -Asus issue?

2. Power button short press equals hot reboot. I confirm this bug on 6-3, 6-4 and 6-5 build. This happened when the option to enable screen off animation was merged. Disable screen off animation is a temp fix. Settings>display

Hi there. Using CM9 in my TFP for about 2 days. Excelent job!

Today I've finished configure everithing and gived it a try to use for real work and perceived a small, but important glitch: when using the dock keyboard, the " (quotation) key isn't working: it ads a blank space when pressed.

IMPORTANT: My language is portuguese and to be able to type properly I configure the dock keyboard layout to US-es (spanish/us) and Language to Portuguese.

Every other keys works perfectly just the quotation doesn't.

Hope this helps you to fix that in the next builds.

Regards,
Rodolpho

Just wiped the default image on my prime and installed a CM9 nightly, 2 nights ago. So far so good. I've actually seen no issues for my standard use senario.
I'd like to donate to the project in a non monitary way, besides testing on my tf201 I have a machine I can offer up for builds. I just set it up to build stock ICS and the build time was around 1.5-2 hours. I invoked make with -j 20... the build machine was an ubuntu vm with 10 cpus allocated... its a 12 cpu machine. I've read the how to for adding myself as a jenkins slave and it seems pretty simple for me to so. I use jenkins regularly a work so I should be able to do that easily, the wiki instructions are pretty good.  The one caveat is my isp won't allow port 80 access, but I do have  a symetric 20/20 connection. Let me know if you need more cpus via e-mail or pm.
