I'm so used to gesture support and a whole slew of everything else from this Rom that I can't imagine going to stock. But I really want to stick to have ICS. I saw that flowchart and thanks to it I think that it's a 75% but I'm not entirely sure. I'm not asking for an ETA, or anything I'm just truly wondering what the state of CM9 for m phone is. I see builds for so many other phones but I feel left out... :/

HTC are due to release ICS for the DHD later in the year and there seems to be a decent following of the phone in terms of CM downloads so Im expecting some kind of CM9 build in the future

Ah that is good to hear, I've been seeing ports of Sense 4.0 Already and was getting confused. This is good to know.

I noticed that
EDIT: Just saw on a different thread that there seems to be some development for CM9 on our device! YAAAAAYY.
Unfortunately it seems to be just the one person doing it so who knows when we'll see something.

I agree. Once HTC releases some Stock ICS Rom Upgrades, the developers here can take those ROMS and strip them apart for drivers and so forth for the Camera and Video Recorder and so on.

Today HTC will relase ICS 4.0 for Desire HD
So after a few amount of time CyanogenMOD 9 will be relased too

If you have an HTC Inspire like me, you know AT&T will never get ICS out to you, so I installed this UNOFFICIAL version of CM9 last night, and it works well. Give it a shot if you're root/flash savvy:

I did have to use the audio fix, but other than that it's all the ICS I had hoped for.

According to the Android Guys, HTC has canceled the offical release of ICS for ace. I wonder if enough of the drivers are public for the community devs to piece something together? Looks like I may move to a One X, or a Samsung S 3. Does anyone know off the top of their heads if there are official CM builds out for either of those?

I was looking on the XDA forums and there's much discussion about ICS for the DHD. They've been emailing and badgering HTC and there has been no official confirmation about it being cancelled. All the devs and HTC staff say the release is imminent.

HTC just anounced NO ICS for the DHD. So most likely no CM9 unless someone breaks into HTC headquarters and steals the ICS Kernel. Or someone at HTC feels sory for us and sneeks it out.

Shame on HTC http://blog.htc.com/2012/03/ics/
I suggest to follow the discussion >> http://forum.xda-dev...668815&page=123
CyanogenMOD developers should make a post to inform us about the situation, if Desire HD will have an official CyanogenMOD 9 or not.
