Here we go again! New version of CyanogenMod means a new nightly thread, but same old rules!
  • DO NOT: Post to the bug tracker
  • DO NOT: Open another thread (I will enforce this with temp bans)
  • DO NOT: Think of this as official forum support; this thread will be strictly user to user support. Don't expect CM-dev help.
** These CyanogenMod builds are highly experimental and unsupported.
**
** Please refrain from submitting bug reports for any issues
** you may encounter while running one of these builds.
**
** Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
** cause of male impotence.

Installed this on my tf101 this evening.    No major problems so far!

Wifi works.    Reboot to recovery does not work.

Yeah I had that issue but I also had it before installing Cyanogenmod, going from Stock ICS to CWM in order to do initial flash just didn't wanna happen... Until I manually did it using VolDown + Pwr :)

it appears to me that if i flash newer rom without wiping data results in faster battery drain.... that happened to me when upgrading from nightly2 to nightly3... Does any1 have same problem? cuz it's kind of suck that i lost all data...

Are you flashing on a full battery? If not, try to reset your battery stats. Usually works for me, but a full wipe is always suggested for best results anyways.

Anyone else having trouble installing YouTube?  Also, is there anyway to get the touchpad enable/disable button on the dock working?

YouTube works fine for me.  They've made progress with special buttons for the Prime, I assume that work will be floating down to us soon.

Visiting the site or using the app?  I can't download the app.

I took a look, and it appears it isn't in the market for me either...  And I have it set to restore in Titanium - so that's probably why I didn't think it was an issue.  I suggest finding an .apk and side loading it.  Or, changing the build.prop...

Did you install a different kernel? I had the same problem, but it was after I put on a custom kernel that was said to work with cm9...  If that's not the case, I'd try a wipe and reflash.

I haven't rooted my tf101 yet, so please tell me are the stock asus apps available in this rom? Also, what doesn't work in this rom?

Some of the special keyboard buttons don't work yet.

Wifi has been buggy for some - though it works fine for me unless I try to use a different kernel, even the ones that people say work with CM9, and on a reboot, I have to turn wifi off and then on for it to work again.

YouTube is missing for me an one other person in the market but side loading it, it will work perfectly fine - there might be other apps missing from the market, but no other has been reported yet.

The system doesn't correctly recognize the keyboard dock battery separate from charger. (use the dual battery widget to view dock battery life)

Other than those, which are nothing to me, especially since they can be worked around, CM9 is amazing on the transformer.

Does the CM9 browser allow to permanantly change the user agent to "desktop" yet? I've noticed odd power cycles with my tf101, both rooted and unrooted. Has that been an issue at all with CM9? Can't wait to try it out, but I'm a bit hesitant as I've already sent my Transformer back for repair twice.

Yes to the user agent. :)

And I haven't had any weird reboots.

I hope you're not one of the unlucky few who would keep getting bad TFs... :/  Either way, there are unroot guides out there that can get you back if you need to send it in again.

The stock ICS is horrible on my transformer. Worked great with HC. I havent rooted it yet as the feature set of the stock was good enough for what I had needed over the past year, but its performance is horrible since the ICS upgrade. Better stability/performance with CM9?
