Good Morning,

i have the proplem with the inaccessible SD-Card since i flashed the newest nightly 0419. Will the changes regarding the mountpoints be reverted and if not, how do i reconfigure the phone to use future nightlies without the SD-Card issue?

I have the same problem, i can't use recovery or flash a new rom, becaus my SD Card isn't mounted and cannot be found.
Any help?
If the new nightly has a fix, then how can I install it?

select zip from internal sdcard option

Full format doesn't help this.

Your internal storage goes to /emmc
Your external storage goes to /sdcard

IMO it should be the other way around

ok i restored my backup,
1. went to settings->development->enabled root for adb
2. remounted system as rw
3. edited /system/etc/vold.fstab to the following
## - San Mehat ([email protected])
##
#######################
## Regular device mount
##
## Format: dev_mount <label> <mount_point> <part> <sysfs_path1...>
## label - Label for the volume
## mount_point - Where the volume will be mounted
## part - Partition # (1 based), or 'auto' for first usable partition.
## <sysfs_path> - List of sysfs paths to source devices
######################
# internal sdcard
dev_mount emmc /mnt/sdcard 11 /devices/platform/dw_mmc/mmc_host/mmc0/mmc0 encryptable_nonremovable
# external sdcard
dev_mount sdcard /mnt/emmc auto /devices/platform/s3c-sdhci.2/mmc_host/mmc1
# USB storage device
dev_mount usbdisk /mnt/usbdisk auto /devices/platform/s3c_otghcd/usb

rebooted. opened music, it only showed me music on my internal card. went to storage and unmounted/mounted external sdcard. Now music plays all well

I'm thinking of throwing 20120419 on my device. Is it worth Is it? What features aren't working yet?

Same here, loaded 20120421 and in settings 'Internal storage' still shows the size of my external SD and SD Card shows the size of my Internal SD. Should be the other way around, not? It sure was on stock rom and before nightly 20120419.
Hence I can not unmount my external SD as it's recognized as Internal SD. Apps are however installed on my internal SD cause I checked the checkbox to use the internal memory.

Still looks like some things are bit messed up. Or am I missing something here?

I hope fix this in the next nightly, now do the 4 wipes and install the 20120419 again, this is the best for now, the last nightlys drain fast the battery.

It would be quite cool to know more about the SD-Card / Mountpoint Issues... The last nightly I was able to use without problems on my SGS2 was 04-14... The 04-19, 04-20 and 04-21 is completely "messing" up my system. Applications don´t work anymore, Camera won´t work because it isn´t able to access the sd card, Navigation Software has no accessable maps and on it goes...

Is this change "working as intended" and am I to stupid to configure it right ( and if it is so - where to get a proper solution ) or is this broken and will be fixed in future releases and we´ll have to wait to catch a working nightly...

Sat Fix is really quick in 04-14 - 04-21 but the battery is drained faster from nightly to nightly...

Hi, for me all works fine (am on Nightly 20120421 now) after checking in the Settings -> Storage and then via the menu-button the checkbox Use internal memory and then rebooting the phone. All my apps on the internal SD work fine, can also take/store pictures. My file manager shows now as Internal SD the actual internal SD and EMMC is my external SD which is also correct.

The only issue is that in Settings -> Storage then shows your external SD as internal SD and the internal SD as an external SD. But looks like in the next nightly a fix is coming up: https://cm-nightlies...device=galaxys2 Well, I hope it will be fixed then.

Guys, do we know if it's planned to include EAP-SIM authentification mode on CM9 for the SGS2?
In France, I need to use it with Free Mobile ISP, to be logged on their WiFi with my SIM card.
