Hey,
since this morning, my phone is stuck in the splash screen.
ROM is installed for several months now.

I've made a full backup of the data.
Resetting cache and rest to factory defaults does load the device, but restoring the data gets stuck again.

what can I do without loosing any data?

after more than 16 hours stuck (I left it to process whatever it was doing), and various attempts to re-install CM 7.1, I tried CM 7.2 RC which did the trick...

I had the same problem but in addition to resetting cache and factory defaults, I also cleared dalvik cache and formatted all of the drives except /boot.

Now CWM flashes briefly on the screen and loops over. Is my phone bricked forever? or can I do something??

Same problem here on galaxy S, while moving from Darky Rom to cm 7.2 stable...
Any solutions ??
