I have this issue too. For some reason, there are only two options when I connect my phone to my computer via USB:
1) SD Card Access (or something along those lines)
2) Charge Only
The computer also fails to install the necessary drivers (MTP USB I think?) whenever the phone is plugged in.
There is no "USB Mass Storage" option that used to show up with the stock ROM (and with all other Android phones I have had, regardless of ROM)...

My newly rooted and flashed Cyanogenmod Atrix was charging on the USB from my desktop computer just fine, but I changed it from "charge only" to "access flash" (or whatever equivalent text), and now I see no indicator for USB, and no charging :-(
At the very least, is there any setting to change it back to "charge only" independent of whether it's connected to the USB or not???

It's almost as though the Atrix's USB device port was misconfigured by the setting "access flash" and therefore fails or is disabled.
At least it will charge when connected to the USB wall wart. But it's a major pain in the butt that it won't even charge connected to my computer. That's the way I charged it at work - the whole "transfer stuff to and from the flash" thing was a very minor issue relative to charging.
So, is there any way to change this setting back? I suspect there is, under the surface - but I see nothing in the settings GUI. I would even be willing to go in under the surface - but hopefully it's not as obtuse as unlocking/rooting/loading Cyanogenmod. [ NB I'm an embedded systems engineer with 30 yrs experience doing hardware, firmware & software, and I found it obtuse - but hey I'm not afraid of the command line or vi even! ]
