I was having a weird issue where it would not connect to a mobile network, kept saying there was an error. Eventually a battery pull and another wipe of dalvik, cache, etc fixed it.

I find it's super stable now, using radio UGLC1 (NA 4.0.4 radio) and franco kernel milestone 2.

Forgot what I was missing with CM. Cannot wait for more nightlies. :D

I'm glad to see this forum up! :)

I've tried the nightlies and found it quite good.  The boot animation is awesome (can't wait to see what will be done with the new logo).

The only thing that keeps me from using it as a daily driver is the music app.  I can't find a way to replace it with this one http://www.seeingpix...9-music_16.html .  I guess it is not merged yet.

Both have same package name. I've been able to make it work but as soon as I reboot it force close and will no longer work. :(

Anyone have a clue?

EDIT: Nevermind found a non-system apk here http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1551747  :)

I wonder if there would be any chance of including a mod like this:

http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1355193

Combined with the existing ability to remove the persistent search bar this would be excellent. Unfortunately, I had no luck getting it working.

EDIT:

This seems to do the trick:

Has anyone else noticed laggy scrolling in the latest nightly?

Newest CM9 nightly installed on my new GNexus

Everything working smoothly, except the keyboard. Works fine in English, but when I switch to Hebrew, the keyboard sometimes stops responding for a bit, then closes. I can reproduce with certain phrases - typing in "אני חושב" consistently hangs after "אני חו" has been typed in.
Makes me think the autocorrect is going haywire...

I also miss the "slide on space to change language" feature... Anyone know of an alternate keyboard that works like that?

Emoji bug report:

I'm using the April 17 nightly (stock kernel etc.) which includes emoji support as the changelog suggests.  I've enabled emoji support and "strip unicode" is unchecked.  I am able to send emoji's to an iphone but I don't receive emojis sent back from the iphone.  I only receive what looks like blank texts back but I am able to copy the blank text and paste it into a new text which inserts a space character.  Doing this also nukes my SMS app. (I can't add any other text after that and the single space text is saved as a draft.  I have to copy text from somewhere else and paste it in after the space character to get things working again.)

This is using the stock CM SMS app.  I did restart the phone after enabling emojis and have force stopped and cleared the data for the messaging application as well as clearing the device cache from CWMR.

There is no regular update schedule for this ROM.

Hi, I've already posted a new patch set to correct the issue with iOS 5 devices. It's here on Gerrit http://r.cyanogenmod.com/#/c/14818/. I'll just have to wait for its approval, and then everything should work.

Might be a newbyish question, but is UMS ever going to work for the Galaxy Nexus? Lack of folder browsing file transfer is my biggest (only) problem with this phone, and when I saw the UMS lines in the changelog I thought it might be fixed...

Disabling auto-correct worksaround the keyboard crashing.

Weird question ... for soem reason my LED on stock was able to be color coded per used in apps like handcent. WIth nightlies it looks like I can specify a color to an application but I can't have the apps control the color themselves. Is this not possible with these builds?

EDIT: ok maybe just a hiccup ... seems to be working fine now *shrug*

Sad that connecting to ad-hoc wifi is not possible yet, but I bet it will come soon. I really appreciate all that great work!

I'm pretty sure that I've hit a bug, which has been there for at least a month.  Currently running cm-9-20120418.  I've tried wiping data and installing fresh.

Certain letter combinations when using Danish keyboard and dictionary cause the keyboard to crash, e.g. kl, kæ, og and various other.  It's not consistent, but it happens about 9/10 times.

I/ActivityManager(  221): Process com.android.inputmethod.latin (pid 16055) has died.

tl;dr: Enable Danish dictionary, type kl in a new message and see if your keyboard crashes.

Any suggestions?

Edit:  Updated to cm-9-20120423.  Still an issue.

Running the latest nightly and so far it's a very smooth ROM, nice work folks. I would like to ask if CM9 will have the "Blacklist' function incorporated into the ROM like CM7. I loved having that feature.

the changelog does not show any changes to the last few nightlies, is that an issue with the changelog not being updated or are the servers cranking out builds based on the same thing?

If you're still looking for a keyboard with that functionality, I sometimes use Thumb Keyboard. It has many different layouts and is highly configurable. I love it for two-handed typing. For one-handed, I stick with Swype.
