The softkey options have not been merged yet as they are still WIP.
They are on http://r.cyanogenmod.com for review if you want to track their status or add them to your own build.
Or just be patient for things to get ironed out :P
What is "WIP?"

I see here: cm-nightlies.appspot.com/?device=toro on the 20120501 build they added "Control for fast USB charge."  I can't find anything in any settings for this so is this a default or a toggle I am I missing it somewhere?

Also, WiFi hotspot is working on 20120506!  Good work!

i believe they removed the control for fast usb change the next nightly b/c of risk of causing damage to equipment

Yea, not all devices are capable of being able to do that, so they decided to remove it rather then hear "my phone is broke after i used usb fast charge". Good choice imho.

I'm Running 9-20120507-NIGHTLY-toro. So far, I have noticed the following:

Settings -> Security -> Lock Screen -> "Power Button Instantly Locks": Un-checking this has no effect.
Settings -> Security -> Lock Screen -> "Automatically lock"  has a maximum of 2 minutes, but stock VzW 4.0.4 has up to 5 minutes Scratch that. I was remembering that from a different ROM.

I wouldn't consider these to be 'bugs', but I just wanted to relay my experiences. So far, the ROM is smooth, fast, and very stable. I had a lot of FQs on Trebuchet during the initial setup, but once all of the apps were restored from the market and my home screens were set up, there haven't been any issues.

from the 30 seconds i spent looking it up out of curiousity, i believe it's that when you're not using a standard wall outlet, it will only draw so many amps of power to charge your phone which often leads to discharge of the battery even when plugged in.  so fast usb charge will increase how many amps it draws.  don't quote me on it per se... :P

I didn't want to say this on rootz wiki, but this is the best mod. The smoothest and the most polished. Others have more features, but even when CM creates something they have already done, ie. themes, the use CM's instead. I was on redemtion because it offered almost pure aosp experience, but this rom offers pure CM experience, and it is better. Also, the constant attention it receives is amazing, not one day goes by where nothing is being worked on.

i've had some issues with the 3g toggle recently.  if i have it off for an extended period of time [like overnight] i will need to go into airplane mode and then back out before it picks up 3g again.  am i the only one with this issue?

Does anyone know how to.fix the dec 31, 1969 bug? Every picture that I download says it was taken on that date. I am using the 05-07-12 nightly.

I have been reading that franco.kernel runs well with CM9 but when I load it I loose the ability to use the built in CM9 color settings.  Anyone know how to get that back or recommend a different kernel?

Couple questions/requests:

Is anybody else having issues with silent mode not vibrating for notifications but vibrating correctly for phone calls? I can't seem to get notifications set to vibrate at all. Setting the individual apps (Gmail, Talk, etc.) to vibrate in silent only doesn't help, nor does using an app like Timerrific to configure my sound settings automatically (same settings worked on stock as I intended). Is this intentional, is it a bug, or am I missing something?

Second, is there any possibility of overriding the default Android behavior of preventing mass USB storage mode when the device has no external storage card? I definitely preferred mass storage mode in older versions of Android to the MTP mode that I'm stuck with now. I don't know if this is even an option since I'm not familiar with the code, but if it can be done I'd be ecstatic.

Lastly, I found the settings for the notification LED, but there was one situation I didn't find there. I'd love to be able to set a color for 'device charging.' It would only be lit while the device was plugged in and not at 100% battery power. I had this option while using Light Flow, but I'd prefer to see it built in since there are already so many other LED settings present. I see the latest nightly added a couple new ones here (voicemail and missed call, I believe), so this may already be in the works. Just throwing it out there in case.

Overall, this thing is rock solid. Beautiful work!

EDIT: Correction, when I set individual apps to vibrate in silent mode, that appears to work. I must not have noticed before. I still don't have system-wide notification vibrations though.

Anybody having trouble with bluetooth audio? I'm still on the 03/29 nightly build because it's the last nightly that bluetooth car audio has worked on my Gnex. Any nightly after that I either have trouble pairing with my car stereo, or if I'm paired during the upgrade it stays paired but no audio is heard when played.

I have the same issue in my 2011 Corolla: it pairs, and plays phone audio fine (e.g. for a conversation), but no audio successfully plays to the stereo (e.g. with Google Play or Audible).

I had the same problem on my CM7 Evo 4g before the GNex.

Is USB tether not working for anyone else?  It was working in previous builds...

Okay, I'm really sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm having a hell of a time.  I ran CM6/7 for a long time on my old Moto Droid, so I'm not new to Cyanogen by any means.  I have tried other ROMs on my Galaxy Nexus but I just can't get the CM9 nightlies working.  It just hangs at the boot animation forever.  Today is my first time trying.  I did the standard routine of flash ROM, flash GAPPS.  Even tried flashing back to stock beforehand.  No matter what I do it never makes it past the boot animation.  Right now I am back to stock with unlocked bootloader.    Did I just pick a bad day where the nightly is corrupted?  If not, what am I missing?  Has anyone successfully flashed the 13May nightly?

@SaltyTeabag Today I had problems flashing the latest nightly. It failed to download through GooManager and when I downloaded it on my comp and copied it over, CWR said it was bad and didn't install it. I'm currently running the nightly from 5/7 and it's great. It's right when they added the custom lock screen shortcuts.

Thanks Jake.  Yeah, it took me a couple hours to get a successful download today, but I finally did and MD5 was good, but still fail.  Guess I'll start with yesterday's nightly and work my way back.

EDIT: 12May nightly still fails in the same manner.

Did you do a full wipe before flashing. It usually is required when switching over from another rom. I missed this when I came back to the nightlies after switching over from my og Droid. Hope this helps
