Turns out there seems to be a glitch when a profile with a ringtone volume override is enabled. Turned off the profile and all application-specific sound settings returned to normal.

I've noticed a few times on the 6-14 nightly when I've pulled down the shade nothing is there. After a bit the power widget, date, time, and notifications will reappear. I'm going to backup and flash the latest nightly to see if that's been fixed.

To add some more information.
So I cleared cache and data and put in a CM9 nightly 6/19
Sync was working GREAT.
I would see an email arrive in gmail on my laptop... and it would pop up in about 2 seconds on my phone (Gmail widget).
I could delete an email from my phone... and it would disappear from my Gmail when checked from the laptop.

and THEN -
I DELETED an Email from my laptop... and right then the sync broke down :(
The sync never worked properly again :(
I'm not sure..but I THINK I might have deleted the email from my laptop before it popped up on my gmail widget on android...

I'm looking for a place to ask about this bug/function on the CM9, dunno it it's here, if it's not please tell me where. Thanks.

One thing that I miss most on the CM9 build from the old one CM7. It's the Gmail notification light. I don't know how that's named or work, but let me explain.

On my last rom (Based on the CM7 version/OxygeN1mod Final) when I received one new email the trackball led start blinking, like any notification. I knew that there was a new email received and if I was on my computer and read that email on it (Desktop gmail/browser), the mobile Gmail would instantly update that I already read that email and the light would stopped.

No need to get the phone, unlock, click the Gmail app to stop.
Right now on the CM9 rom (4.0.4) I'm using, strangely the Desktop Gmail does stop the led from blinking, even if I already read the message. I need to unlock the phone and go to the home screen to stop the blinking, reading or not the message.

Is there any way set that? It was all ok on the older version. How can I set that on CM9?

Thanks :)

Isn't that how it's supposed to work?  If you read it on your computer, it should stop the led flashing?  It's how it is on mine at least... The notification & LED indicator will stop flashing when I have read it...

What ROM/build you're using?

Thanks.

i'm on cm9, haven't kept flashing new nightlies (6.2 is what i'm on now), but every nightly i've used it has kept a sync of the emails and would disappear if i read them on my computer instead...

Alius, can't seem to quote and reply so here you go:
Google for 'cm9 fix gapps' to get a zip you can flash and fix sync. Had to do this to fix calendar app sync.

I've also had the Google Voice play within previous phone calls crashing in 06/19/2012. Anyone know if that's fixed?

I haven't noticed this problem since upgrading the date I posted that. I also upgraded to the nightly from the 25th and haven't seen it recently either. I figure it's fixed.

According to the xda post you posted, there are builds currently being done for the non-lte builds (toroplus, wingray, urushi) but no toro. Hopefully it's next in line.

Nevermind, I must have had a stale page in cache; there's a link to a post at the top of this forum to the downloads page and selecting toro on the left, it was listed there. (I'd post a link, but this is my third post; been trolling too long without posting it seems...)

It figures RC1 would come out today, I just flashed 6/25 last night... installing it anyway.

Just can't turn away from having an RC instead of a nightly :D

Maybe I'm missing it but where is the setting to change/add to the power control in the drop down menu?  shouldn't there be settings to add for sync? Right now all I have are Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS and Brightness.  Thanks.  This RC1 by the way.
