Hi guys,
Just flashed the Cyanogenmod 7.1.0 Stable ROM. 48 hours later so far so good, liking it very much! Except for occasionally the capitative buttons will stay lit and not turn off till the phone is unlocked, which then they will light as they are operated. Once hitting the power/lock button again (to sleep the phone), the lights come back on. This is cleared by a soft reboot, but returns after a few hours.
Any suggestions or hidden settings I can change to fix this?

Also wondering if there are any Kernels that one could recommend for a daily driver? Something I can over clock a little with SetCPU or similar. Reply via PM is also appreciated.

Thanks!

Pretty sure this is by design - actually it's a feature that once I understood it, was glad to see. One thing I missed from my old Blackberry was the red led that told me I had a notification, whether missed call or email or whatever. Shortly after putting CM7.1 on I noticed what you are wondering about and after a few trials, realized this is the missing notification LED, though since there is not one dedicated for this, some genius realized the capacitive button lights could be put to that purpose. So check your email or otherwise clear your notifications and the darkness will return until the next email or such.
