Hey, I've just removed the default rom from my huawei u 8160 (vodafone 858) which was android 2.2.2 (Torres) and installed the Cyanogen mod 7 - It's running fast and wild like the wind.

I just got one problem, the phone battery is supposed to last 4 hours on conversation and 480 hours in standby. But with cyanogen mod 7, the battery lasts way less - I always have wifi, gprs, and other stuff turned off, but the battery can't hold it... with the old original rom, the standby mode consumed 1% of the battery, on cyanogen, the standby memory usage is 5%.

Can't we change the memory usage and CPU usage options in order to make the phone run a little slower but saving battery?

I'm new on this thing, but I really could use some help. I have to charge my phone like 2 times every day, this is insane...
