Hey guys,

I got a mates phone who wants Cyanogen put on.

I have done about 6 phones and no issues. Well until this one.

Install CF root kernel mod and then boot into clockwork flash the cyanogen 7.1.

But when I do it I get stuck in boot loop. the Samsung galaxy screen and yellow triangle, It kills clockwork as well. I have to go back into download mode and re flash CF root to get back to clockwork again?

I have never had this issue before any ideas?

I am doing cache and factory data, delvik reset  as well.

I have re downloaded 7.1 again incase something happened to the image but still got the issues.

Any ideas?  :)

Thanks..

this happened to me as well, trying to flash stable 7.1 (from stock).
I was already rooted (zergling) in stock Touchwiz, so I tried to install CWM recovery in app through Rom Manager.  It wasn't installing properly because I was still booting into the stock android recovery.
SO...I installed CWM recovery via the wiki (http://wiki.cyanogen...ll_Update_Guide).
After following instructions and getting 7.1 SUPPOSEDLY installed, I got a boot loop with the yellow triangle.
I was like ok no biggie, been there before on other phones. I booted back into recovery....to discover it was the NEW recovery that Rom Manager was trying to install in the first place.
I reinstalled 7.1 in the new CWM recovery, and voila...problem solved.

I hope you can get SOME information from this.
