20120404 (first build, but probably not different in second build of that day)
upgraded to 20120407 and still this behaviour

When using lockscreen widget to lock phone the screen goes off as usual but almost immediatly it comes back on with my unlock pattern screen, then waits for the timeout and turns off like wanted.

In previous version (20120326) that I used this did not happen and lockscreen widget worked like a charm.

I have disabled and again enabled the lockscreen widget as a device manager in security settings, also completely uninstalled it and put it back on, restarted phone multiple times.
Weird thing is that after a restart it works flawlessly the first time, then after that it starts acting this weird.

Did an upgrade, wipe cache and dalvik cache as required for a normal upgrade between versions afaik and all else works well for me atm.

• if I remember correctly,every cm9 build version of April has a bug.....when whichever lock screen app properly installed in those ROMS,you can see a weird thing happens at the very first time you click on the icon of lock screen widget ,it works great,but after that ,whenever you click on it,no matter how hard you try,it will remain reactivate the screen of I9100,i mean the screen light can't be turned off......bothering me so much....

Bug report,

Since ages we have limit set for open apps in RAM, it's set to 16 non system apps and max 40 background system services..

In CM7 i could overwride this limit by adding this to build.prop

ro.HIDDEN_APP_MIN_ADJ 25

then i could have 60 and more services in ram, and i used task killer to control my apps.

Now in CM9 this no longer work.

I see in logs this, as was in CM7 before my discovery for freedom..

We have phone with 850MB ram and we use only 350MB.
It's a waste!

So if any CM9 Source Code Dev looking at this thread,
Please rise the limit to 60 services! max, insted of 40

or fix the code to obey overide by this command ro.HIDDEN_APP_MIN_ADJ 25 as was in CM7

Thanks allot. it's mean great deal to users all over the globe! (my rom (for HD2) with this tweak reached 1.5Mil view and 13500 posts!)
My new future rom for SG2 needs this tweak!
We need freedom to choose what to close and what to leave open 24x7 in RAM!

should be changed to

Currently changing this value manually causes the device to be unable to boot. I don't think this kind of hardwiring functionality to an informal textfile should be in place? If it is, change the code so the device can boot with the correct line in build.prop.

Hey guys my english might be not that good but i try to explain you my problem as good as possible.
So the problem is, when im calling someone who is already talking to someone i dont see it, there is no " waiting " notification ? What can i do ? What could dissolve the problem ? I have the samsung galaxy s2 i9100 with the latest cm9 nightly build so the 1904 build at the moment!

Hi, there is a bug in the VPN configuration screen. It always assume you will want the phone to store your VPN's password, but that is not allways the case...

Version: 20120507 (also before)

Problem: When you try to edit the automatic brightness levels, you cannot enter thresholds above a value of 3000. This makes not much sense to me, because
1) the default threshold values are even higher than 10000 and
2) I've watched the sensor return values of up to 16000.
To illustrate the problem, I've taken to screenshots: of the light sensor configuration overview (with default values of more than 10000) and of the text entry field (showing that one can only enter numbers less than 3000).

Expected Behavior: You can at least enter numbers up to the highest possible value the sensor returns (if there is one).

Yippee - sort of. I see the 13th May build fixed the SMS time stamp which is great, except it still shows in message list the received time, not the sent time. See Below.

This is the SMS list in messaging showing 3:16pm...



And here is the message details showing the actual sent time as 3:14pm (which was the correct time)...

Don't know if it's right to post the info below here, but let's try!
I'm using the update-cm-9-20120512-NIGHTLY-galaxys2-signed.zip version and there are a couple of settings that I'm missing (or maybe I just didn't find them =P):
- Facebook sync is not working well... It's not synchronizing my contacts and calendar (if I go to Accounts & sync setting, I can see my facebook account and it says that my contacts are synched, but I can not find them in my contacts list... Also, there is nothing about the facebook calendar...)
- Haptick feedback intensity (vibrate intensity when you press the back or menu key, now I just can enable or disable it)
- Setting a mp3 as ringtone or alarm tone (for ringtone the only option is to find the mp3, long press and set as ringtone but I didn't see an option in sound setting to specify a file; for alarm tone first I need to set the mp3 as ringtone, if I don't do that the file will not appear in the list of tones from alarm settings)
- Create new "tabs" in menu, for now I just can work with the Apps and Widgets tab... I didn't find a way to create new ones to organize all my apps

On Videoplayback (Mobo, Rockplayer) The Sound of Bluetooth Headset is asynchron (1-2sec later). If i plug the Headphone directly into phone, the sound synchronisation is ok. Before Flashing this FW, i had the official ICS 4.0.3 Touchwiz from Samsung installed, and there it worked fine.

I also have a problem with bluetooth sound playback. On my original fw (2.3) the streaming to my car audio it was fine. Since i have updated to ICS, there are many hacks all 2-3 minutes for 1-2 seconds. (Problem was also on Stock ICS 4.0.3 )

Hi all

I'm using the 9-20120414 nightly (yes I'll switch to an RC pretty soon), and found that when connecting to a WIFI network protected by WPA2 with AES encryption, the key length is limited. My laptop can connect using a 64 bytes key (ok, I'm kind of a paranoiac), but the GS2 cannot. I've changed the key length to 15 characters, and ICS was happy with that.

Any reason for such a limitation ?

When applying personalized profiles (which I love to have), with certain setting combinations the music player is affected. With every song-switch there will be a notification in the form of a vibration and/or audible notification. It is worse for the audible notification since it goes through the speaker, even when a headset is plugged in.

It seems that the setting causing it is in "profiles->editing a profile->other->activating notification modus and/or vibrating modus". When the settings are active, the standard music player will also FC and restart upon pressing pause. Other programs using notifications also are affected, on startup and shutdown the phone will also vibrate.

hi there, i'm new om CM9 and here everythong works great, but.. when i'm playing videos like movies.. after 10 or 15 minutos of play the phone frezes...

i've been looking around and nothing only one guy as this error..

i'm using 20120516 ver now update to 17 and mx player but i dont know what's wrogue,

my instalation was from ressuration remix..

the 3 wipes + system
cm9 + gapps

and everything works but the video is killing... and i'm a movie eater... :s

can anyone help.
