Or maybe i just have a specific version of the samsung galaxy s2 that allows CyanogenMod9 to work perfectly.
I'll tell you guys what i did, first of all i installed CyanogenMod 7 on my Galaxy s2 which kept running into so many errors along the way, so i used ODIN to install an unsigned version of the current OS on my phone.
This seemed help a little and i was able to get an awful glitchy version of CyanogenMod7 on my phone. So i uninstalled it and reinstalled official. (remember to always backup)
So after all this, i lived with official for a while until i just couldn't bare seeing that gorgeous ICS out there on everyones device, but i held back and eagerly waited for official.
Then samsung leaked their utterly discusting version, outraged i backed up my OS and went all out, no holding back. I reinstalled the files i downloaded from ROM Manager a while back for cyanogenmod7 (i also have the latest version of clockworkmod installed this will be important) and deleted all everything from my DCIM folder. (this fixes the camera) i then went back into ROM Manager (premium) and downloaded the files needed for CyanogenMod9 holding alot of hope. I went downstairs for a cup of tea and came back to ICS.
Here's the details of the device i have guys, the version i installed was the top on in ROM Manager that ends in 20 under that you'll see two more one that ends in 19 and another that ends in 18
THIS ISN'T A GUIDE! this is more like rough guidelines to explain it does work really well on my device and COULD work on yours.

Hi Chance2006
This works for i9100, but not for i9100G , i9100 have different CPU and GPU , so if you flash i9100 software in i9100G , you brick the phone. A custom CM9 rom for i9100G is needed
