Is there a way to get the TP to show up as a storage device on the PC?

It doesn't seem to work with CM 9 alpha 2.  I have to reboot into webos in order to transfer files over...

thanks!

go into "Storage" menu, than on the sub-menu (right top three circles simbol) and check MTP ... if you use Mac osx you have to download "android file transfer" , if you have a normal pc you dont ...
another way is booting on CWM recovery, go into "mount/unmount" and choose USB storage

i preferi first method, faster

I have been pulling my hair out to figure this one out... Fixed my problem perfectly. Hated having to put files on the TP through WebOS. Now just drag and drop with CM9. Thanks Biondo!

because windows 7 works with

if you use xp,  according to this thread

you have to uncheck  usb debugging in developer option

to get mtp working, also you can use airdroid or similar apps

On my Touchpad I, too, had to uncheck Android debugging in Developer options in order to get it to connect.

Also if you use Linux, in my case Ubuntu, Download gMTP and you can transfer files with no problems.
