After flashing CM7.1.0, my wifi has been getting the "Error" message whenever I try to turn it on. The wifi worked perfectly on 7.0.3.

When I tried restoring to my 7.0.3 backup, the restore went through, but the "Error" message still appeared when I tried turning the wifi on, so I went back to 7.1.0.

I tried using adb to push wlan_loader, but that didn't solve the problem either.

Any ideas?

I'm having the same issue. However, when I restored to 7.0.3 and I enable Wifi, my phone reboots, goes to the lockscreen, Wifi is automatically turned on and reboots my phone causing a boot loop. The only way I can stop it is to restore a ROM.

I tried wiping and doing a clean install of 7.1.0 and 7.0.3, but neither of them got the wifi working again.

I had something similar - turned out it was actually a bust SD card. Might be worth checking that first, I ended up wiping my phone and having to reinstall, when all I really needed to do was swap the card.

I actually replaced the microsd card a couple weeks ago (found a good deal), but still no luck.

Any luck fixing this... Ive had the issue for some time as well, but rarely use WiFi... but it does come in handy.
