CM9 A1 HW acceleration

Hi All.

Testing ICS Alpha 1 hardware acceleration has anyone else had the following experience -

Whilst Youtube HD works very well local (hardware) playback appears to only work with x264 encoded video. (MX Player being used with and without the ARM7 codec)

Am I doing something wrong or are other people also seeing this?
