Hi!  I'm trying to install cyanogenmod to my t-mobile g2x and I'm currently having an issue.  I'm trying to boot back into ClockworkMod Recovery by holding down Volume Down + Power.  The LG logo comes up, then the image of the android guy and the box with the arrow and I release the buttons.  The screen goes black and the LG logo comes up again and then the screen just flashes black over and over and I have to remove the battery to power down.

I installed ROM Manager and flashed the phone with ClockworkMod Recovery.  I then used ROM Manager to reboot the phone, wipe the data and the cache, but then after the phone rebooted there was an error in opening the CyanogenMod update zip.  I tried to reboot the phone from here and had this problem ever since.

Any help is appreciated.  Thanks!

ROM manager was your first mistake. Should have read a bit before taking the plunge. Install cwm via nvflash forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1056847

Sent from my Jitterbug.

did you install a pre rooted rom after you got cwm to work correctly.
that's what i'm working on. i have a stock rom with the gingerbread ota update and i could not root. i found a forum on xda that has the rom already rooted but i first had to come to the xda forum article mention in this thread.
Completed this sucessfully, done the nandroid backup, and have the new rom zip file on my sd card and ready to flash.
i was just hoping that i could find one person that had successfully completed the process.
here is the link to the other forum article that helped lead me here.http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1255214
I truly hope you have done the same thing and can tell me what happened.
if not sorry to bug you.
thanx gene
