1. boot into recovery
2. wipe cache partition, wipe dalvik cache, also wipe user data (in recovery)
3. flash cm7 again (in recovery)
4. reboot device.
NOTE: You're going to need the google apps .zip(it contains the market and allows you to link your gmail to your phone) as well but you can get that after you freshly install cm7.
If you need any further help let me know.

Thats because you need to download google apps .zip in ROM manager or the internet. Now google apps .zip should be on your sd card, and then boot into recovery and flash it then it will ask you about linking up your gmail account with your phone, it also gives you the marketplace to download apps. But before you download google apps .zip from ROM manager you need to go into the market and download superuser to get permission from ROM manager to download google apps .zip.
NOTE: you need to download the google apps that matches your version of gingerbread, if your using a newer version of gingerbread like 2.3.7 then google apps 2.3.5 works fine which should be the latest one.

3. NOW flash your cm7 .zip first, then flash your gapps .zip second(in recovery)
4. reboot device
5. you should be able to link up your gmail and you should have the marketplace.
6. download superuser from the market
7. that should fix you up

Well if nothing works find the official RUU for your phone to put you back like it was when you first got it. You will have to reroot your phone and flash your cm roms, I've had to that before as I couldn't boot into recovery. But it worked
