Hi there,

Here is something that i may conclude from your mentioned problem,
Make sure you are downloading the full zip. There are times when you download the ROM zip file directly to your device; it downloads the incomplete zip  and hence shows you the error.

But also make sure that you download it from the official nightly mirror network : http://get.cm/ and not from any other websites/ blogs/ storage clouds

Hope this helps, try and report :)

Hello together,

i am having the same problem. I have downloaded the cyanogen mod 7.1 from the cyanogen websites several times but it does not work. I have tryed to install it with the rom manager from the SD card, then it brings the error like above. When i choose download rom and than pick cyanogen, it "downloads" the rom in ~ 0.5 seconds and then it says finished. If i say restart and install it brings the same error message. Then i have tryed to install the ZIP file with the clockworkmod recovery. It installs it, but when the phone restarts it stops in a loop and the cyanogen droid on it's skateboard comes and comes again...

I don't know what to do, i have flashed some Samsung Galaxy S and had never a problem, but i don't get cyanogen working on my new SGS2.

Any ideas?

Ok, now it worked. I don't know, what i did, but after i have tried it felt 300 times it worked. I hope, the upgrade to CM9, when it's released, is not as difficult as installing CM7.1 :-)
