I have installed Cyanogenmod 7.1 successfully

The problem faced by me is :-

When I connect by Mobile with Laptop using USB Connection It shows connection is done. It shows "USB storage in use" in my mobile phone but the problem is it is not showing in my Laptop because of that I am not able to access my files and folder of my mobile via laptop.

When I connected with other laptop it showed my problem about USB drivers installations failed

This problem is not faced when I was using stock ROM

Please help me to rectify this problem
Thanks in Advance :)

I had this problem too for a bit today, couldn't figure it out by googling or searching forums so I figured I would make an account and share the solution since I figured it out. lol.

Click on Settings -> Applications -> Development -> Uncheck USB debugging

After that, again.. go to Settings -> CyanogenMod Settings -> Application -> Check Use Internal Storage

The problem is CM turns off your internal storage. Reboot after checking off "Use Internal Storage" and voila, you'll get the typical android dude that asks if you want to turn on USB storage mode. ;)

Enjoy.
