Hello, I'm new to CM and I am currently debating buying an HP Touchpad 4G that I've run across on eBay recently. I'm curious as to whether the 3G/4G radio and/or the GPS are supported on either CM7 or CM9? I understand that they are both in Alpha, so my mileage may vary with this. I'm just looking for an answer to this question and if installation would be any different if I bought the 4G model. Thanks!

I could be wrong, but I don't think this exists. If it does then there are just a few out there.

If there were Touchpads with 3G/4G or GPS it would definitely be news to me!

Definitely talking about the "white rhino".

The White 64G was targeted for the European market - with the rapid shutdown of the line there were many questions about where those devices went (apparently they were never 'publically announced'.) Would be a wonderous find but probably being sold off very slowly so command a high price.

Guys, I own one of these "white rhinos"! Alas, there is no 3G/4G on board. Only a slot for it...

I own one of the 64GB "White Unicorns" and it does not have 4G but I also own the 4G AT&T 32GB Model which was never even made public and sold off during the liquidation at the Palm Offices here in California, so I got my hands on both.

Obviously, I am curious if Cyanogen will ever support the 4G capability, since I heard one of them got their hands on one, but obviously there are not a lot of us out there, because these are basically the "Black Unicorns". Yep, they look identical to the Black 32GB models but they have a slot for the GSM card so they do exist and I actually do not use mine as I am waiting to see if they will ever support Android on it, because then it becomes either sell the WHITE or BLACK Unicorn off, hahaha...

Is there a petition somewhere to get 4G Support on the Touchpad ICS port? :)

Same as DonChino, I have 64GB and 4G AT&T 32GB which can be and is unlocked for any carrier. Also I know of TP Go's that are out, any chance of adding them to the list for a Touchpad ICS port?

CM9 runs just fine on the 4G model. You can't use the built-in modem tho, as there's no support for it (at least there wasn't in A3.5, not sure about nightlies).

If any of the devs can comment on wherever the 4G chip will ever be supported by the CM, I'd be very grateful.
