First off, thanks for CM7 on the Cliq XT! It gives so much value to an otherwise cheap 1st gen phone. I'm actually glad Motorola didn't roll out 2.x for it (reduced price).

Anyway, I'm having an issue with my battery's charge dropping like a rock for some unknown reason. The battery usage indicates that something is keeping it awake even when the wifi and screen are off (I don't have cellular data). The usage statistics I get from Spare Parts says that the highest CPU time and start count are going to the ADW launcher, but I would think this is normal. That statistic holds even when I'm getting my normal battery life of 3-4 days. Rebooting the phone reduces the battery use back to normal levels, charging the phone does not (it just combats it). I've tried "soft" rebooting apps (read: task killers), but those don't have any effect so I'm thinking it's a system thing.

I've never used the stock ROM so I don't know if this is really a CM issue or not, but I thought you guys might be able to shed some light. Here is a screenshot for reference: http://imgur.com/dhjKd

Yes, I have the exact same problem... on my Clix (Quench here)... my battery used to last a lot longer and now, it goes away in less than 1 day even not using it. Any ideas please ?

It's this I think:

Basically the drivers are borked for this version of android at least. It makes the device highly unreliable (especially for an alarm clock purpose). I guess you get what you pay for after all.
