Hi everyone,
I've searched these forums and the internet to try and solve my problem but have had no luck.
My problem is that the internet (both wifi and 3g data) doesn't always work, more often not in fact.
Even doesn't work when there's a full signal for either.
As i understand it, the icons for either turn green when being used (different colour for different theme?) and stays grey when it isn't but is connected. This is the problem I have, I get stuck with the grey icon and whatever  app is trying to use the internet just carries on never loading. Its doesn't come up saying there is no connection, just doesn't seem to want to download anything.
Any ideas?
Rebooting tends to fix the issue but obviously that's not practical.

Will get screenshots if necessary.

Additional info:
CyanogenMod 7.1.0
Kernel: LorDmodUE 2.6.35.14

Thanks in advance!! :)

I'm having the exact same issue, sometimes toggling airplane mode fixes it but not always. Also used to happen on my Incredible also CM7 but never in MIUI.

That is a common bug called data tracker. It shall be fixed soon on your nightlies. Make sure that you report about it to your device dev.

Its already fixed for our device :)
Hope this helps

Oh okay thanks! What's nightlies? I've seen it around but I'm not entirely sure what it is.
And how do I go about reporting it?
Thanks!

I had this problem too, but after seeing these replies I updated to the latest nightly build (260) in hope that it would work.  It did work, and not only does the wifi/cellular data work more reliably, but I'm getting better cell signals too.  Also, the phone is noticably faster to respond to everything.  Everything is just better.  I'd recommend updating.

I agree however I was having issues with my GPS. However This was a feature I rarely used so not much of an issue. I did update using this AGPS Patch which seemed to have sorted it during tests, I've yet to use it properly (Sat Nav etc)
