I have a quick question. I'm really new to android so this may sound daft to everyone but here goes.
When CM9 is release I assume it will be an alpha or beta or a nightly. I have given the codeworkx rom a try and it was great. a few bugs made me go back to cm 7 but I liked it.
when the nighties are released is it easy to update to the latest and is it possible to update from a nightly to a stable without flashing. I would prefer to avoid have to start again every day or 2. also in normal stable releases do you get updates "pushed" to the phone or is it a case of always flashing.
thanks in advance.

The normal update procedure for the nightlys is to flash the new rom, but without doing a factory reset. That way, everything is kept as it was on the phone. It's only when doing major updates you need to wipe data, but that information use to be given together with the ROM.
