I have been using CM7 for a couple of months now. As of two days ago I stopped receiving SMS messages. I can send them, just not receive them. I did a factory wipe (3X) of EVERYTHING (Dalvik, cache, data, system), performed a fresh install of CM7 (3X)from a fresh download each time and am still experiencing the same issue. I even tried flashing a different ROM thinking I got a bad download. It is not carrier specific as others in my household do not have the same issue with their phones. I have searched for help with this but cannot find any info...maybe I'm not looking in the right forums?? I am a noob and would appreciate any help I can get ASAP as I rely heavily on SMS for my job. Thank you in advance!!!

I would like to add that I was using the Google Voice app before and all was well. I followed others advice about GVoice being the problem, and uninstalled the app...no luck. Also did a fresh install of the ROM and left GVoice out...no luck! I am going nuts trying to figure this out. I tried batch install of programs to see if there was an app causing this...no luck. I am currently running a fresh install of CM7 stable with NO apps installed and still having the SMS issue. PLEASE HELP!!!

Are you not receiving sms messages from anybody or just one person. I had the Gvoice issue with one person (my pregnant wife of course) and was able to resolve it by getting rid of Gvoice AND disabling my integration with Sprint and Gvoice. Hope this helps. Good luck
