Hope I'm posting in the right forum, if not, I'd appreciate a MOD moving this thread to the correct forum.

I'm looking for a way to add custom text (Contact details etc.) to my CM7.1 lockscreen (HTC Sensation).

I remember the setting from CM6.1 on my old HTC Legend, and I've seen it on Honeycomb-tablets, but this feature isn't around in CM7.1

Scouring through the forums, all I can find is this post:

I followed the instructions, (thx to jdostal for returning to post the answer to his question), but end up at:

My SQL-list doesn't have "lock_screen_custom_m". I assume his was probably there, since he had the text set, previously in CM6.1.

Flashing CM6.1, obviously, isn't an option on the Sensation, so I' like to ask if anyone has any idea as to where to go from here.

I just seconded you request in the thread you linked, and also the app you link to looks like something that might be a temporary solution.

BUT: as I haven't completely uploaded my soul to Google, I cannot use this app, as it apparently only works with Google Contacts, and my contacts are all offline, and not synced to Google. So they don't show up in the app... *bummer*

But thx for directing my attention to this app. Maybe someone else can use the recommendation.

EDIT: Just saw the latest update-date on the app; 2. august 2009, maybe thats why it doesn't work. ;-)
I see a couple of other apps, that apparently does the same thing, but they are all heavily outdated. I guess the best bet is to wait for ICS, as I believe the function of lockscreen text is carried over from Honeycomb.
