I had this happen once, fix was copying files from SD card, reformatting SD card and then copying files back to SD card.

Thanks! I'll give that a shot. Earlier when the SD card backup was complete I deleted the multiboot and Lost Dir folders and it seems to have stopped.

Mine does a weird thing on silent/vibrate (CM7 though) where it rings for a split second, then stops.

Sent From My Ocarina Using the Song of Time

Mine does it on CM9. I hate when it happens when I'm sleeping.

I'm a heavy sleeper, so no problem there. And there's a bug on both CM7 and CM9 for me that makes max volume less than half of what there is on stock, so I can't hear it anyway. -_-

I know what you mean about the volume. I have trouble hearing driving directions. I hear calls coming in because I have the bluetooth in my ear all day. I just don't like using the bluetooth for driving directions.

So it's not just me, then... I really don't understand why sound isn't on the list of recognized bugs, because various sound glitches are definitely there for multiple people.

Hi I am new to the forum and to rooting phones. I just rooted my phone on Sunday, and this was the best thing I ever did for my phone! I have noticed a few things with my phone.

1. When I press the Smiley button on the keypad nothing happens.
2. When I am watching videos the movement of the video causes lines, when nothing moves on the video.... no lines.
3. When people call and when I have volume on I hear a weird ring at 1st.
4. When the  phone auto corrects the I then space, the space disappears.
5. Having issues with the browser, lines, huge rolling lines, pages stuck in an endless refresh loop.

That's what I got so far, love the ROM! I am recommending CM to all my friends!

I believe all of these are recognized bugs that are being worked on, except for numbers 4 and 5. As for number 5, I suggest trying an aftermarket browser from the android market (Dolphin Mini, Dolphin HD, and Chrome Beta are all good choices). No idea what to do about number 4

Yeah, I totally agree. The stock volume is much higher. I even tried tweaking it in the sound manager app but it doesn't help.

Same here. Plus, sound through speakers often sound distorted.

Is anyone having an issue with wifi tethering turning off right after it connects? I've tried it on all the alpha's and the same thing happens.

Just noticed something on the physical keyboard. When I shift up to capitalize a letter, it sticks on caps lock. I have to jack with it for a while to get it back to regular. It doesn't seem to go from regular>Capitalized>CAPS LOCK. It only does regular>CAPS LOCK. I normally don't use the physical keyboard unless I've got a lot to say, which isn't too often, lol. Anyone else run across this?

I'm testing it right now (posting this from my laptop via WiFi Hotspot) and it seems relatively stable.

haven't had any issues and i use the hw keyboard for everything. possibly a stuck/bad key on your phone?  does it do it on a stock rom?

Never did it before on other roms or stock. I'll mess around with it more.

Alright false alarm!  I'm an idiot. Turns out it was an alpha version of swiftkey x that was interfering. I uninstalled and all is well. Typing from hw keyboard as we speak.

Thank you xwatchmanx for the info I am not too concerned about the I space issue. And I am using firefox now.

Also, is there a speed dial option other than the direct dial? I like the direct dial, but when the phone unlocks, I keep "butt" dialing people.

What lock setting do you have that keeps unlocking and butt-dialing people? I've never had that problem since the upgrade to Android 2.1 on my first android phone. 0_0

Anyway, you can use the "contact" shortcut, rather than 'direct dial'. it's nice, cuz whenever you click it, it opens a quick "popup" menu with options to call, text, email, etc the person. at the very least, it requires 2 presses to activate a call instead of 1, preventing the likelihood of accidental dialing.

From my understanding smiley face button is TW only and will not work on a ASOP rom.
