i understand your problem..,now tell me which version of cm you are using(problem one)..
any how you are going to use all the pertculars like ".tass,.md5,odin,and all",by depending upon all those things only u have to install

thanks shiva for the response.

This was the first time I am tryin to flash my phone and unsuccessfull

Firstly i rooted my phone by z4root.

then i installed rom manager to flash my phone. In rom manger, after tapping on flash  clockworkMod Recovery (selecting Commtiva Z71 for phone model) it says "an error occurred while attempting to run privileged commands". I already unrooted, factory reset my phone , then rerooted and installed rom manager many times, it doesnt work.

Originally my phone has android 1.6 and it sucks big time.

Plz suggest something...

First of all make sure that you have superuser and permissions for rom manager are enabled in it.

When i open superuser for permission it gives me error saying "sorry the application superuser permission(proccess com. noshufu.android.su) stopped unexpectedly . please try again."

any idea on this.. . .

Go to settings > Apps (APPLICATIONS) > All Apps

Now browse to superuser, press it and clear "Data" "Cache" & "Defaults"

After that reboot and open superuser (It should work now)(This happened with me a few months back)

Now when rom manager is fired, it will ask for root perm. again
Make sure you select yes
ROM Manager will now work.
Your problem was that mistakenly you have set "NO" to rom manager root permissions :)

I cleared data for superuser, cache and default option are not highlighted.

When i go in rom manager it does not aske me for any kind of rooting permission, what happens is when i tap on flash option it says "an error occurred while attempting to run privileged commands".
I have no idea where to lookin in next.

That is because its not able to gain root access from superuser.
Hit super user and click on rom manager and clear each and every trace of rom manager from superuser. Now reboot and try again with rom manager.
