Will it work for LT15a model?

I have a LT15a model, and I wanted to check if the version of CyanogenMod for the LT15i model will also work on the LT15a before I tried to put it on.

Did you manage to make it work?

I also have a LT15a model and I wanted to use CyanogenMod on it.

Is the ROM working properly? I was thinking about flashing the LT15i firmware first and then the ROM, is this how you did it?

It worked just fine.  I didn't have to flash the LT15i firmware, either.
