Please, I need your help, I just bought a Captivate for my GF, we live in Honduras, Central America and the phone was supposedly sent unlocked, she inserted the sim card and the phone did not asked for any code, but, it has no signal, it is currently displaying "no Service", and when she goes to look at her baseband version, It displays "unknown"!
It has a crappy ICS rom, since Im an Nexus one owner I dont know a thing about this phone version!

Can you PLEASE! help me?

Can I just flash a nightlie over this shitty ICS rom?
Do I have to upgrade or downgrade anything else?

Please, any help is welcome!

Lol what ICS is it? Just flash something over it. Although flashing a rom won't fix the problem most likely. Flashing to stock might; however
