Giant/colorful fonts do bother me, a lot, seems a kid crying loud for what wants, imo... besides that, i'm pretty impressed with nightly 40, great battery use (the best atm, tested until 43), also great performance.
Notable issues are:

-blinking screen when of and charging
-power button ending a call without acessibility option off (finally found it, thought the problem was in this configuration, but changing it has no effect)
-the fm radio (i dont use it, but worth say that its not there, testing spirit fm to see what happens).

If any of this problems is already solved, i would be pleased to know. The good thing is that i got flash player working in my OH, i may post it if there is anyone intrested ^^. Cya...

Battery drain seems normal to me with powersave gob and juice defender.
I'll be testing the tethering at home, but probably is not working.

some features are missing in cm7, others are extra.....
with a little effort you can personalize the stock to look the same as cm7, despite speed stock is 100% functional
at least you can root it and wait for a well commented build

Yes, there are themes for Cyanogenmod with different bars, but if you want to all the features works at 100% wait for a RC.

Asking if it's worth to install CM7 from stock? YES! aside of the good things mentioned by predoi and altctrlsupr, you can always revert to stock rom if it doesn't fit your needs just don't forget to backup ;)

No audio through bluetooth handsfree. I tried 3 diferents devices:  parrot ck3000, btc5 (in ear handsfree) and a supertooth II.
Anybody works correctly?
Devs Connects ok, the dial button of the devices make the call, the vol buttons of devices change the bluetooth vol. But the audio allways go through the speaker of the phone.

Other bug is no fm radio.
Battery using ONDEMAND is good!!
