Given the recent explosion of nightly users, I understand your need for a place to discuss them, and/or ask if other users are having similar issues as you...this is that place

  • DO NOT: Post to the bug tracker
  • DO NOT: Open another thread (I will enforce this with temp bans)
  • DO NOT: Think of this as official forum support; this thread will be strictly user to user support. Don't expect CM-dev help.
** These CyanogenMod builds are highly experimental and unsupported.
**
** Please refrain from submitting bug reports for any issues
** you may encounter while running one of these builds.
**
** Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
** cause of male impotence.

that gapps file is not the recomended by the developer of the mod "arcee" the one he recommends is:

gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip and the newtalk add on if google talk is your thing gapps-gb-20110828-newtalk-signed.zip

Source: Rootz wiki "arcee" OB thread

Also, why fragment the other thread? that was already used as support thread (user to user kind).

I have other question...

I'm thinking about updating my nightly version, currently I'm on #26 and it runs really nice and smoothly, but there are some bugs.
My question is, if I wipe chache and data I'll lose everything that's on my SD card? Like my backups made with Titanium Backup and others?
Will it erase everything is on my SD?
If yes, how can I proceed to recover all that data after flashing a new CM nightly?

Thank you, appreciate your help!

No, you wont lose everyting on your SD.
But you dont have to wipe. Just put the latest nightly in your phone :-)

The need to wipe is only when I'm gonna flash it the first time?
From stock?

---- edit ----

Flashed nightly #44 through Clockwork Mod, just wiped Dalvik cache...
Everything went just fine, my phone is working like a charm!

Thanks for help!

Hi everyone.

This phone is too bright and battery is running out immediately.

My case, mainly consumed battery on a display.

Especially the button light consumes the battery vainly.

Then, brightness control by under the command.

  # Display LED brightnes minimum
  echo 0 > /sys/devices/platform/i2c_omap.2/i2c-2/2-0060/leds/lcd-backlight/brightness

  # Button LED brightness OFF
  echo 0 > /sys/devices/platform/i2c_omap.2/i2c-2/2-001a/0x01

But after Suspending, returns to a default. (maybe, this action coded by kernel leds-bd2802.c)

What should I do for controlling everlastingly, Isn't there any idea?

# If possible, I'm glad to default brightness function added! → P970_CM_Team

Read this http://cm-nightlies....om/?device=p970

Download build #66 then flash it via rom manager, then full wipe, cache and dalvik cache

1. How do it?
Download them from here: http://download.cyan...tly&device=p970  use ROM Manager, copy it to your SD and install it from ROM Manager.
2. A stable version for lg
I can recommend you #57 and/or #58 the most stables till now, check this apart for more info:   http://forum.cyanoge...s/page__st__280
