Alright. I'm pretty freaked out and frustrated right now. I installed CM7 and right after it installed and rebooted it was stuck in a boot loop. I took the battery out, went back to recovery and did a factory reset/cache clear and its still stuck in a bootloop. I don't know what else to do. Any help would be appreciated..it gets stuck on the motorolla M

Did you wipe data/factory reset? That's what will fix it.  Mine did it when I installed the 154 nightly today.

Sorry to hear about your problem, the same exact thing happened to me last night; followed the instructions here: http://forum.cyanoge...0-15-june-2011/, thenwhen everything was finished, the phone went into a reboot loop.

If you made a backup, but can't access it when booting into recovery mode (because you boot into the 30.04 bootloader or something like that,) the following steps will help put you into a rooted gingerbread mode, where you can download the droid2 bootstrap and reboot into a mode that'll let you restore: http://androidforums...d-9-9-11-a.html

Hope it helps, good luck!

I'd like to know what to do to successfully install the rom. I've never played with any roms and would like to give this a go.
