I now have "update-cm-7.1.0-RC0-smb_a1002-KANG-signed-pershoot-bl1.2.zip" installed. I put "update-cm-7.1.0.1-smb_a1002-signed(1).zip" on the root of /sdcard. Using CWM 3.0.2.8 I tried to install it and I get severeal different: getprop(ro.product.device)==Harmony ending with Error in /sdcard/Rom/update-cm-7.1.0.1-smb_a1002-signed(1).zip. I obviously have a extra copy of the update on my pc thus causing the (1).zip but I do not belive that should cause an issue but of course I could be wrong. Any advice? Thanks

I'm not an expert on this, so someone might need to correct me if I'm wrong. By what you have installed, it appears that you have the 1.2 version bootloader and the ROM you're trying to install is the bootloader 1.1 version.

cowboy would you mind pointing me to the most stable and latest mod for the Gtab with the BL1.2?

technicly this is the most stable CM rom. you just need to NVflash your device back to a 1.1 bootloader then install CM7.1.0.1 from there you should be fine.

not unless you install an unoffical version for the 1.2 bootloader. to tell the truth 1.1 or 1.2 bootloader doesn't matter much just depends on the rom of your chooseing. 1.1 has been more perfered due to how much easyer it is to build roms for it. where as 1.2 it is easy now back then it wasn't, if i remember it was due to the kernel and voltage *shrugs* i cannot remember. it's better than switching bootloaders every time you want to update the rom.
