Well first you have to downgrade your phone to an older version.

Here are the following steps:

1. Unpack SFT.rar that contains SmartFlash Tool program.

2. Unpack, preffered C: drive, firmware pack BIN_LGP970AT-00-V10a-EEU-XXX-MAY-09-2011_0.zip
Inside there will be 2 files: LGP970AT-00-V10a-EEU-XXX-MAY-09-2011+0_AP.bin i LGP970AT-00-V10a-EEU-XXX-MAY-09-2011+0_CP.fls.

3. Run B_SmartFlashTool_Extern.exe

4. Choose:
1) ROM copy D/L bookmark
2) in Select mode choose Normal mode
3) choose CP file: LGP970AT-00-V10a-EEU-XXX-MAY-09-2011+0_CP.fls
4) choose AP file: LGP970AT-00-V10a-EEU-XXX-MAY-09-2011+0_AP.bin
*) connect phone in S/W Update mode with battery in it (on the phone that is switched off, plug in USB cable WHILE HOLDING Vol+ button)
5) choose COM port.
6) choose LGE Mobile USB Serial Port in Communication Driver
7) click Start and wait till end.
It takes about 3 mins to flash.

After all is done root your phone using SuperOneClick and then follow the RootzWiki guide to install a nightly build.

On #61 the "screening lock" where it doesnt turn on when you try to unlock happens often, had to pull battery 3 times in 1 day.
And one time half of the screen was frozen on wallpaper and buttom half reacted to my touch, was able to reboot. Anyone else tried that, or tried #61?

It was a problem with #61...was the same for me...I installed #62 today and no probs so far...

P.S. For me #52 worked the best till date...

I still have slowdowns and freezes with the #62.. today there's not the #63.. does anyone know why?

Found a fix if the half of the screen is frozen. Just rotate your phone. But using #62 would be easier ofc

In this moment i am trying the release 62 but i have the audio problem yet. The battery consumption is good and the interface works well.

using #62 my phone keeps rebooting when recharging... weird... apart from that it is ok...

I'm on 58 right now...so far it's stable for just about everything..Camera still does not make a shutter noise, but it pretty quick .Posterize and Solarize do not work on front camera (it allows you to make the selection, but does not change theeffect displayed from the previous effect selected) and the framerate on HD could stand to be a bit better (it looked to be no more than 15fps). Other than that, I've had a very minimum amount of FC's, battery life is about 8 hours with wifi and BT on and connected, music player playing constantly through a BT headset and about 3 hours of screen-on time (browser, stumbleupon, SMS etc)

Been using #62 for two days now and it is really working fine for me...

The issues I have spotted so far...

1. Call end button a'int much responsive
2. The gallery image picker intent problem is back...by default it only loads the first group thumbnail (will take a look at the source and see if i can help, provided i get time from my office work)
3. Media volume is too low...even at max.
4. A few awd elated issues.

But overall its just fine (did not have any crash or lock-screen issue yet). Will stick to it for a few more days...check the updated version and if needed will revert back to 62

P.S. is seems that my device likes #2(s)

i had some issues with #60, #61, #62 and #63, phone suddenly and for no reason rebooted into recovery, lock screen buttons dissapeared, power button stopped responding when screen was off, so i couldn't turn on or off phone.. had to pull battery 5-6 times or more i one day... and battey drained in 5-6 hours. flashed #55 again now, and everythings fine

I have the #62 , this is very stable bit there are some issues as: battery consumption,  camera does not work with HD or large modality. Are there differences with #63 ?

Hyphen - I had the same problems with the 60's plus slowdowns. So followed your action and running 56 again, no problems so far:-)

But the sound issue was better in 62,63.

Same issues here... rolling back to #55 or #56...
#60's are heading the right way i guess, when they work, they work just fine, but the instability issues (reboots and freezes) are a pain in the...

Volume issues got better.

But camera on video mode has issues. Records for only 3-5 seconds before freezing and not recording anything.
