No roaming indicator on the status bar. Very important to know when you are roaming with the nazis at sprints roaming dept.
When trying to force roaming in the mobile networks settings by selecting affiliated networks it doesn't do anything.

Thanks...looks like the wifi driver change says do not merge. Does that mean it isn't in the latest nightly?

Probably so - that's a bummer, I didn't notice it said do not merge. You can try RC0 with the wifi fix, though.

If I am reading the change write it has some removes on some files in the wifi/etc folder. In the full4.zip nightly those files are still there. I suspect the change isn't merged as stated.

not on mine - flash seems to work as normal when set to Auto, and when forced on it flashes on taking a picture. As for "expose camera button settings", take a look at "CyanogenMod Settings", then "Input". at the bottom, it has "Camera button music control" as an option. Not sure if that was there before, but I'd guess that's what the change added.

From this http://review.cyanog...ung_epicmtd,n,z it looks like it was merged already. My wifi seems to be doing find on the most recent nightly - better than it has before. Haven't tried wifi hotspot yet, though.

Good news: WiFi startup is finishing - Now the icon will appear in status bar. WiFi will connected to unprotected networks. It will also connect to encrypted (WPA2) ONLY if I hardcode IP address parameters. Bad news: DHCP is timing out on my network with WPA2 encryption. http://pastebin.com/i6ARLY3p
I have deleted wpa_supplicant.conf from /etc/wifi and /data/misc/wifi to blow out settings and start from scratch - didn't help. DHCP still timing out.

WiFi - we've also had reports about that, but all of our phones work fine with wifi.
Bluetooth - I haven't tried any phone-to-phone connections, but it does work with my hansdfree kit. I'll look at the other profiles.
Flashlight toggle - pretty low priority, but worth looking into. I keep the Torch widget on one of my screens for toggling.
Smiley button - and, related, .com button - These appear to require some Touchwiz-specific customizations. We don't currently have any plans to hack their functionality into CM. This may change. Or not. Depending on motivation and resources.
Camera button doesn't wake the phone if you wait at least 15 seconds before hitting it after the phone suspends.
LED - "funky" how? It lights when battery is low, or when a notification is waiting, or when battery is full. What else are you expecting?
Camera video recording - What do you mean here? It works on both of my Epics, as well as the other devs'.
There is some preliminary work being done toward this goal, but we're still ironing out a lot of things.
for mms, i cant receive or send on wifi, i have to turn wifi off, and toggle airplane and data and sometimes even reboot to download a mms or send.
LED idk, it just turns pink sometimes lol.i just noticed something was funky, camera recording and some video playback on vids can get choppy or laggy, thanks for replying UP! i appreciate all you guys are doing for our epics
btw, just flashed update 4 and my wifi says error when i try to activate it and wont do anything. ideas? my wifi was perfect til this one.And thanks for the Flashlight fix!!! that was one of my fav things.
had to odin back to ei22 and start over.. no biggie. needed to start fresh anyway. one more thing i was going to point out is the slow memory card reading.
works fine, just slow. and kinda annoying. not complaining, just acknowledging it ..
cant wait for cm9!

For the LED, it would be nice if it would light red when charging, blue when full, like stock TW Roms.
Camera Video Recording is fine but for high quality videos, any rotating can be somewhat choppy and just not as best as the video can be.

WiFi was always rock solid for me in December so not sure what's up with the recent issues. Just saw others reporting issues so I thought the logcats might help. I'll let you know if it gets better.

It sends text message to phone stating the phone has a voice mail message.
Example:
9016: //
Android:xxx-xxx-xxxx has sent you a sprint voice Message. Call xxx-xxx-xxxx to listen. MMSN, xxxxxxxxxxxxx// CM
