Hello,
I have the same device and I'm also wondering if it's possible to have a Cyanogen ROM for it?
Here is the latest stock ROM update from the factory (2011/11/26):

I will do some language fixing and I will look into the kernel to see if I can tweak the speed of the processor

And for rooting you can use SuperOneClick which has worked succesfully ^^

Also for getting clockworkmod you can flash the recovery image with http://bm-smartphone...g-tutorial.html flash the recovery image after rooting your device with the following app: http://dl.getdropbox...it-m44tools.apk

And to change the lockscreen:
Open ES File Explorer, enable Root Explorer (and accept Superuser prompt) and Mount File System under Settings. Navigate to /system and edit build.prop. Search for a line that looks like:
curlockscreen=X

And then change the number to any number from 1 to 9. Save and reboot the phone.

And for people with gps issue and also wondering about the firmwares,
Heres the latest firmware from 26.11.2011 (3th firmware release): http://115.com/file/e6m4czy9

Also who wants to try, heres 2.3.5 from a russian forum: http://narod.ru/disk...d2_3_5.rar.html

The official 2.3.4 can be applied by putting the files on the sd card root and then flashing the update.zip trough recovery.
The custom 2.3.5 can be applied by using nandroid (It's a nandroid backup)*

I will try to lookup some more stuff ^^

*Step by step totorial:

Before doing any steps make sure your device is rooted!
1 Install nandroid
2 make a full nandroid backup
3 replace the following backup files with the 2.3.5 files: boot.img, system.img and nandroid.md5
4 restart your device (also remove the battery for some sec to make sure it's totally turned off)
5 then go back to nandroid
6 in nandroid choose recover from backup
7 wait until the recovery is done and restart your device
8 tada android 2.3.5!

And if you want to change your device name in about:
1 make sure you're rooted
2 go to system folder
3 open build.prop in a editor
4 edit the string
ro.product.model = A9100
5 save the file and reboot
6 You've got now a different name (changed mine into I9100 Clone whahahaha)

Android 2.3.9 is being made at the moment by some china guys, so expect soon a update which will boost the battery especially ^^
And it will be CM based so I can still continue my work to get CM to it's original state with themechanger etc
