Further to the unstable wifi connection, I have seen ok phone to access point wifi connectivity.  But when enabling the wifi tethering feature, my tablet sees / doesn't see the phone. And correspondingly, acquires and loses connection with the phone.

Previously using stock Rom 2.2.2, tethering was solid.  Checked, and the phone's data connection to T-Mobile appears stable and fast.

Data connection and even telco connection is sometimes down upon boot.  I resolve by simply power cycling.  Happy with CM7.1's many improved features, just wanted to feed back concerns I'm seeing.
