+1 for this. It's one of/the cheapest android smartphone on the market. I think it would be a great edition to the CM family.
I'm a computing science student. After this coming week, i'll be free to help any porting, although it would be my first attempt at doing so.

I have tried all the custom ROM available rarely there are 2 custom roms and no bug is reported.
Since all are saying that wifi is not working after installing the ROM let firmware to adjust according to wifi setting as will take 10 to 15 min an all will work fine but all these ROMs doesnt match the Cyanogenmod. Devs are working on ICS and since its a new device they dont even have the device to make clockmod recovery and ROM also....
I urge the Dev to plz help out our problems also......

hi guys!.. we all want a cyanogen mod for SGY.. but if you want a custom rom for now until the release of cyanogen mod for SGY try this ROM i'm using it right now its ICS themed ROM.. working great on my SGY.. heres the link ( just skip ads) http://adf.ly/5NZq8... and also here a demo video http://adf.ly/5PCDx ...
