Hello everyone, I would like to try CyanogenMod as I am not happy with the stock rom from LG. There is just too many bugs and I am sick and tired of waiting for some current android releases.
Anyway, I have a rooted phone with 2.2.2 stock rom on it. And I only use Linux (Ubuntu 11.10 currently). Which means I don't have access to a Windows machine. Can anyone share some information on how to flash the phone from a Linux OS as NVFlash is a windows tool?
Would really appreciate your help!

You can find nvflash for linux here http://rootzwiki.com...-linux-nvflash/
It worked for me under Ubuntu 11.04, but that was back in May, and I'm sure it's been updated since then.
Just to warn you. I got absolutely no feedback from the OS that the phone was connected when I plugged it in with no battery and held vol up/down. I didn't see anything in dmesg at all, but it was connected and the script worked.
