If I revert back to 5.0.7 the problems are non-existant. Anybody have some ideas I can try to resolve this....love CM and really not wanting to go to another rom but really want 2.2

I noticed a similar issue with the RC2, but I need to look more into wether it was just a settings issue for me or a full blown error. So far I'm having much better luck with the latest nightly, but nightlies are not for the faint of heart.

So if we use setcpu to stay below 600Mhz you think that will work? Or best to move over to a lv kernel?
Strange that it would work fine with pdanet though, it still needs the 3G connection.

I can't verify whether this is restricted JUST to CM, or if it affects all Froyo on Droid, but I'm going to load the FRG01B leak and see.
Also doesn't seem to be connected to CPU Frequency, as I don't use anything above 600...and only use the standard or low-voltage.
EDIT: I suppose it's also fair to wonder whether Verizon's Network has been up-to-par. Perhaps the high-end Androids are starting to inflict their wrath on a half-baked network.

3G keeps dropping me to edge every couple minutes or so. When 3G works, it reports good strength (~3 bars), but drops within a couple of seconds.
This started happening immediately after upgrading to RC2.

Update: I have not noticed the same flaky behavior on FRG01B yet.
Where's the bug tracker located?

I'm probably using the wrong term. It drops to 1x, whatever the term for that is. Analog?
Looks like more people are having the same issues: http://forum.cyanoge...dpost__p__33143

(It's 1xRTT, but that doesn't exactly roll off the tongue)

I've been getting this exact problem on cm6 (final and nightlies) too. It occurs with jdlfg's, slayher's, and the stock kernel running at 800 (and 850 with jdlfg's). Did anyone ever figure out how to fix this issue?

In any case, I switched over to nightly build 138 and those issues seem to have resolved. Wired and wireless tethering seem to stay on even when I'm using my phone, though I've only been messing around with it for past 15 minutes or so. I'm using the stock kernel, also.
