(apologies on the doubles - just wanted to add the quote and don't see where to remove duplicate post).

'ello all. just had to say: Ulfric buddy, i seriously can't thank you enough. i've spent over a month, literally more than 60 hours easily, if not closer to 80 or 100 watching you tubes, reading forums, blogs - everything, trying to get cm7 running on my NC so i could just have my kindle books. you're the ONLY one that not only laid out the directions perfectly - making it one shot done and rockin it absolutely painlessly. can't tell you how many times i wanted to scream, throw a tantrum and break **** because the insane directions for installing out there. you did it in 15 short sweet sentences. you, my friend are a freakin rockstar. not *** in the least, but buddy, i could kiss ya i'm so happy. so, nuff rantin n ravin. seriously. i can't thank you enough brotha. just one question. that little square with four squares in it at the bottom in between the phone and the web icons (widgets? or apps? w/e.) is there a way to remove them? tried dragging to trash can and is says drop to uninstall, press ok but says uninstall not successful. any way to clean house so less stuff i don't need/want and can't use? or stuck with em? been scourin the web the last hour 1/2 and see other peeps with the same prob but no solutions. couldn't i take out the sd card and remove them via my laptop? or by connecting the NC to it and deleting the files or something? if not, no worries, it's good enough. and thanks again. maybe someday i can return the favor somehow. ~A~

also, as far as overclocking goes, do i need to change kernels or w/e or is there a way to just change cm7 settings and adjust performance to make it faster? i've been reading alot of posts re: nook color tweaks and kernels, but really all i'm using my nc for is books, and web, not games, apps and all that, but if i could make it even more responsive than it is now that would be cool - without more d/l's and file transferring, etc. of course, then again, if considering how easy you made the entire cM install, guess tweaks and a kernel would be a cakewalk eh? thanks again. ~A~

I too am having a problem flashing. After finally getting Recovery to work - was having a tough time getting into recovery - I'm still unable to flash to either nightly 201 or latest stable CM7. So I'm stuck on the nightly I originally installed. I think I might have to completely u root, then reroot. Sigh.
