We are waiting on the kernel source to become available and also waiting for the Official ICS release from Tmobile, in order to move forward.

Last I had heard Samsung decided not to release ICS for the Hercules.  If that's what we're waiting on, we've got a dead-ended device on our hands.

You heard wrong. June 11th is the official date that ICS will be available from TMO for SGS II.

Yep, Samsung has released the source on the same day as the release!

Any official word from the CM Team?  Can we expect a release anytime in the near future?

The first rule about Cyanogenmod? You don't talk about... release dates! Right? Ha. See what I did there? Lolz.

Doesn't look too far off from having a stable release.
