Edit /system/build.prop (I used es file explorer with root turned on and system mounted as writable)
Add this to the bottom

Save
Delete /cache/dalvik-cache/ folder
Reboot into recovery
Go to clear cache
go to advanced -> clear dalvik-cache
Reboot normally
Enjoy a nice 80mb cache

Wanted to say that this is the only method that worked for me. (Also for World of Goo).  Tried every other trick, including uninstalling market updates. This is the definitive fix. All I'll add is: don't freak out when you see a bunch of service stopped warning messages after you delete the davlik cache folder. Just reboot into recovery, wipe davlik cache under advanced and all will be good.

Well, in the recovery mode, when I attempted to delete dalvik-cache folder, I got the message "Dalvik Cache wiped". But, when I looked at the log, surprisingly, I see the message "cannot find /cache/dalvik-cache folder. That means, the folder was not deleted. So, I used terminal emulator to delete this dalvik-cache folder and installed "Run like hell" app which is around 45MB. It did not install correctly. I got so many force close alerts. So, I rebooted and re-installed the app. This time, I had no issues. Thanks for ur help.
