Hi everyone,

I've just upgraded my HTC Wildfire with the latest CM7 7.1.0 stable from the RC. When I turn on the phone the following message appear: "The application Status Bar (process com.android.systemui) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." The only thing I can do is to push the button Force close.

Everything else seems to work properly, but this problem is very annoying and should be corrected as soon as possible.

Same here.
One more issue: when somebody calls phone only rings and does not show on screen who is calling. There are no answer and decline "buttons" too.
I do not know if this two issues are related.

I went back to last nightly I used.

I can confirm both problems as well. I tried the upgrade method. Can I just flash CM 7.0.3 to temporarily revert back with all my apps intact?

same here. + after a while the phone locks up so i can not unlock it. have to remove battery.

same here, the experimental one was more stable than the official stable release of 7.1! Hope they fix it soon because the built in feature of screen shots is cleaver.

I also got status bar  issue on 7.1.0 and had to rollback to yesterday's nightly. Its funny nightly is stable then 7.1.0 stable

Same problem.. But I replace systemUi.apk from 219 nightly and it's work..

replace SystemUI.apk with this in system/app.

Dont mind posting that apk? Love the new stable very much, feels alot faster then 7.0.3. Sad that it has bugs :/

How do I replace that apk? Both the file manager and the terminal don't allow it since it is readonly. I used 'su' to log in as root in the terminal.

The best way would be to download the ROM, open it with an archivator, go to the /system/app, delete the apk and replace it with the one provided by Vik9. After that, reflash and restore all your apps and settings with Titanium Backup.
Or you can just wait for an update

It's strange that all the recent nightly builds were so stable and good and the stable release has so many bugs...
Hope to see a fast update with the bugfixes.

I replace that apk in CM7.1 ROM and then flash it.. With the file manager or the terminal I don't try replace..

Same Problem..No Status Bar...And no Call Accept and Decline Buttons..Rolling Back to 7.1RC..It was better...No bug..Thi one is full of bugs..Even in some apps, i have found that Left part of screen doesnt show up..Its black or just shows the wallpaper..Too many Cracks..

Even the Phone Hangs after 5-10 Mins of Use...Nothing to do..Removing Battery is the Only Option..Greatly Disappointed..

Is there any way we can contact the Devs?
