And on a similar note, I called T-Mobile and explained the deal with my phone and the ROM (yes, I know, I am screwed now with warrenty claims). She says she opened a trouble ticket, high priority, because the phone MUST be able to dial 911, regardless of the ROM running on it. Maybe something will come from that. Maybe not. I will pass on anything that I learn.
I got a phone call from a T-Mobile engineer this morning. He monitored the cell site while i called 911. The Call Management Service field of the DAT (I think it is the DAT) is set to 0001 (normal call) and needs to be set to 0010 (emergency call)
By the way, this is why I love T-Mobile. I was treated like an intelligent person.
