I think you only have to start fake GPS before launching Facebook one time. FB seems to work w/o it after that. Maybe do it after every reboot. This has cured crash issues for other apps as well, though off hand I can't remember which ones.

You are responding to a post over 3 months old and the app has since been updated.

And the post is from someone running CM7, not ICS. I did not say you were wrong either. Just that things had changed since that post, ie; the app and the available versions of the Nightlies.
