Hey Rokson, seeing that you are from Slovenia like me and you seem to know your way around with ROMs, would you know if it's possible to modify the stock keyboard so that supports our accented letters? For example when I long-press "c" I see the option to write "ç" but not "č".

No, I am not skilled enough to produce slovenian keyboard.
BUT: If you choose "Čeština" or "Slovenčina" for your input language, you will be able to type "čšž" using long-press on c, s or z.
BUT (#2): If you choose "Hrvatski" (yes, I know, some would consider that heretic), you get full-blown quertz keyboard with our accented letters - no long pressing required. So "kožušček" here, "križišče" there is not hard to type anymore.

Pozdrav,
Rokson

Hi all,

My blade is a Gen1 Blade. I use the CM7 universal converter to install new versions of CM. I installed my previous version (7.1.0) using that...

Now I tried to do the same with 7.2.0 RC1, but when I reboot the phone, the android logo appears but afterwords, just a black screen, and I have to remove the battery for the phone to work again...

Has this happenned to anyone here?

Thanks :)

Assume you checked ROM md5 sum and cleared Dalvik cache and the source of your problem does not lie there. I've used the universal converter cm7_universal_converter_20111013-signed.zip up to 7.1 with no probs. Although whenever the kernel is updated I believe it needs a new version of universal_converter to be compiled. I had the same symptom you mention after a kernel change when I used the previous version of universal_converter http://android.modac...r/page__st__240
A week ago I took the plunge and flashed to Gen2 using Gen1-to-Gen2-TPT-v10a.zip and had no problem.
7.2.0-RC1 appears to be running fine. HTH

I was trying to avoid that solution, but I guess it's better to do that. Sooner or later I would be almost obliged to do so...

Thanks!

I prefer to stick with the Nbuilds. The latest is pretty damn good. And I'll wait patiently for CM9

What nightly is that? After RC1? Did you brew it yourself?
Mine (@20.march, http://www.mediafire...cbngg5j6r5mk8rl , MD5Sum: 5f8cc37d7d9920b016822dc4e97d9be2) seems to be built with CRASH_MANY_TIMES_A_DAY=false option ;-)

it was the nightly released on the official CM website on 2012-03-12
Tried the RC1 released on 2012-3-14 its not crashing but its not showing the incoming messages and missed calls ( shows it on status bar but when you click it there is nothing.....) But nice response from the touch screen....

I compile it myself from sources.
Look at http://wiki.cyanogen...ogenMod_(Linux) for instructions if you wish.

It was the least of my intentions to confuse anyone.
Look at posts #1544 to #1553 (6. - 25. januar) in this thread and you will understand what is going on.

After 11. november last year there has been no nightly compiled for Blade for more than three months!

Sorry about that.
The history of merged changes is here: http://review.cyanog...gingerbread,n,z
To see changes between ...312 (12. march) and ...320 (20. march) you will have to click "next" two times.
