Ok folks the fund is complete he has the money and will be getting the phone as soon as he can. Will update when I can. Also you can go to the thread that I posted above to see how things are progressing.

I have been watching the thread that they said to follow the one I posted earlier. Sometimes I wonder, It seems that when ever some asks a question someone comes right back with a snyde remark. As far as the admire goes I did send Krylon a donation for the phone I have not posted in a while on xda I follow Krylon on twitter and ask him every couple days. his twitter is @krylon360 it is easier then listening to the arguing on that sgs4g thread. Hopefully Krylon will have a working rom/kernel soon, will post when I hear something.

Rooted.. .First android phone...Glad to be here...  tried to boot to download mode via adb  with no luck..  recovery mode through Rom manager.  Would like to get a speed mod kernel loaded..  any help is appreciated.  Tried spoofing mac addy via busybox/terminal emulator but Ifconfig keeps changing to IfconfIg  (lower case i's change to capitals) tried diff keyboards also.  hence rejected by the emulator.. has anyone gotten the phone into dowload mode?   Regards...

If he makes a cwm this weekend will it be available for download on ROM MANAGER?
Or will we have to install it ourselves?

I would say the best way to know is to ask him just go on twitter and send him your question @krylon360
I saw where he was talking to koush so I would think it would be on rom manager

Well here goes Krylon said that he is doing a perma-root + cwm + voodoo for the admire I think what this means is we are one step closer to cm now we need a developer from here to grad this and make cm compatable with our phones, I do not know how to get them involved at this point. So if anyone would like to take it from here that would be great. And if any developers want to help us out let us know what needs to be done. That would be nice. Thanks in advance,

canu help me kbosdq my phone was rooted and now i rerooted it and when i open superuser it buzzes alot

If you can get into recovery i think it is volume down while pressing the home key and power key you may be able to reset it from there I am new to the Android scene I would hate to give you bad advice. You could also look over on http://www.androidinvasion.us there is a lot of good info there on the admire. Hope this helps

there is no custom rom yet for the admire the reset will boot your phone back to how you got it. If you need the original rom try from samsung
if your phone boots remove su and try re installing it
If all else fails then choose menu setting privacy and choose reset
When Krylon releases the new cwm will post the link in this thread.
